The Vatican

Posted by Erik (Red Sox Nation, United States) on 24 June 2009 in Architecture.

This is a spiral staircase inside the Vatican City in Rome. i didn't get to see all of the Vatican or St. Peters Basilica because that day George Bush just happened to be visiting the Pope and there was thousands of protesters outside the city walls. Later that day outside among the protesters an Italian soldier made me take the lens off my SLR so he could search the inside of the camera for god knows what.
